8. M-Pesa by Vodaphone

m-pesaTM is a fast, secure and convenient way to transact on mobile brought to you by Vodafone, through its wholly owned subsidiary Vodafone m-pesa Limited (VMPL) in association with ICICI Bank.
VMPL has been authorized by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) under Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 for Setting up and Operating a Payment System in India. VMPL is also a business correspondent of ICICI Bank.
It comes with the same option to make payments, send money to any mobile number or bank account, mobile and DTH recharge, and withdraw money.
Vodaphone mobile user can also use it offline using USSD(Dial *400#).

9. Freecharge

FreechargeFreecharge provides online facility to recharge any prepaid mobile phone, postpaid mobile, DTH & Data Cards, Pay bills of services in India and now you can also receive payments. On 8 April 2015, Snapdeal acquired Freecharge what is being referred as the second biggest take over in Indian e-commerce sector.
You get cashback offers when you recharge mobiles or pay bills.

Other notable Digital payment methods/E-wallets are Lime by Axis Bank, Payumoney, Oxigen, Citrus Pay, Itzcash, Mobikwik etc.
